My time at Restoration Hardware came right at the cusp of a new product launch, the Cloud Sofa, and the brand's desire to break out of its dated interface and do something special for this launch was clear.
I worked to wireframe out multiple possibilities for what this experience could look like. The goal was to create a browsable buying guide that encouraged interaction and function, but complimented the elegance of the RH catalog in the digital space.
This page has modular page scrolls, each depicting different ways to customize the Cloud. Modules that could be used included full-page image carousels, hot spots that triggered information modal, tabbed views, as well as video/slideshow components.
I finalized all the UI, with the support of the creative director, to ensure the design felt like a modern take on the RH design language. The final result was well received in the company and has since scaled for additional upcoming product launches.
Responsibilities: IA, User experience, UI design, interaction design
I worked with in-house video and photography teams to execute an interactive configurator.
