I led the design for the first version of the Sephora App for Android. After a year focusing solely on refining our mobile web and iOS platforms, Android soon became priority for the Sephora business, and design begun right as Material Design became the new standard for the platform.
For this product launch, I worked on wireframes and flows, visual design concept iterations, user testing prototyping, and educational meetings with marketing partners, all to help and inform the organization’s understanding of how to take this new mobile platform under its wing.
I collaborated on a daily basis with product managers, Android developers, and executives who weren't familiar with the Android platform to educate and demo how a Sephora would visually translate into this space.
In 3 months time, we got the app to 80% parity with our iOS app, making Android the fastest product launch Sephora had completed to date.
