SEPHORA | calpeniage design system
As Sephora's digital footprint grew larger, the internal demand of more design reviews, features, and iterations had grown year over year. The help streamline this growth, I took it upon myself to lead a design-driven effort to create a the first unified design system for Sephora's web experience. Calepinage (which comes from the name of the black & white striped pattern, an iconic piece of the Sephora brand) allowed my team to expedite the design of foundational elements and flows. I also led the change in workflow for how the product design team used Sketch, using a combination of symbols, Craft Library and InVision to design, catalog and prototype more consistently and efficiently.
